Dark Chocolate Sea Salt No-Bake Brownies

Servings: 12-14 Brownies

Ingredients:

1 & 1/4 cup walnuts

1/4 cup almonds

1 & 1/2 cup dates

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 Trader Joe's 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate Bar (or 1.5 oz. dark chocolate)

pinch of sea salt

Directions:

1. Place walnuts and almonds in food processor. Process until finely ground.

2. Remove the pits from the dates and add them to the processor with the nuts, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Process these ingredients together until well-combined (should be a crumbly texture). Place brownie mixture onto a small baking sheet, spreading it out and flattening it using your fingers.

3. To make the topping, place one dark chocolate bar (or 1.5 oz. dark chocolate) into a glass bowl and melt by placing in microwave on medium-high for 1-2 minutes (should check and stir in between to make sure it doesn't burn!)

4. Pour melted chocolate on top of the brownie mixture and use a spatula to spread it out evenly. (Note: You may not use the entire bar, I only used about 2/3 but it's easier to melt more chocolate as some sticks to the bowl!) Top the brownies with a pinch of sea salt and a few more crushed walnuts. Refrigerate for a few hours before cutting & serving. Makes 12-14 brownies!

These brownies are 110 calories each and contain less than 4g of sugar!
